Weight Loss

I am so excited! I have lost 5 lbs since I started on Monday. Hopefully, I will be able to continue my journey and add a little more discipline to my diet. One great thing is that my office is considering starting an At Work Weight Watchers Program.  This is add support...at least while at work :-).  I plan to post a before picture shortly. It really hurts me to look at it but I will post it soon.  Wish me continued success!!!

Wedding Venue

My soon-to-be sister-in-law has decided on a location for her wedding. It will be held in a very intimate location that is sooooo her. I am so excited for her and my brother.

Slimming News

As you can see from this smile, I have dropped 9lbs. I am so excited. I can't take all the credit though...I was sick and couldn't really keep food in me for 3 of those days. Nonetheless, I am still 9lbs down!

Great News !!!!!

My younger brother and his fiance made a long awaited announcement over the Christmas holidays. They are finally getting married! The two have been together for the last 8 years. My new sister-in-law to be has asked me to plan the wedding for her. I have graciously accepted. We are on the hunt for a beautiful yet affordable outdoor venue. We are so happy for them!

Road To Healthy

As we reach a new year, I have made a promise to myself that I will attempt to get healthier this year. I have gained more weight than I can comfortably tell anyone about.  My husband and I would also like to start planning a family and I would not want to get pregnant at my current size. So this year, my gift to myself will be to purposely lose something. I would love to lose 75lbs or more of myself.  I plan to start on the road to healthy today.  Wish me luck!

One of those days

Today is truly one of those days that I wish that I could be home snuggled near the fireplace. I didn't get much sleep last night and I can truly dragging today.

Anyway, the husband and I went to see Avatar. We had heard so much about it and that it was a must see in 3D. We had plan to see an earlier version in IMAX 3D but it was sold out. However, another viewing was available in regular 3D. I must say, it was a really awesome movie. It is one of those movies that I would pay to view again.
